We created A Little Green Book as a way to bring green information to people in small, easy to read, easy carry, paperback books. While we acknowledge the inherent conflict of printing and shipping physical books, we also believe in consumer choice and consumers (we also call them People) still want printed books. We balance the environmental impact of the book, by working hard to print on recycled paper, to offset the production, printing and shipping of our books. A Little Green Book goal isn't just to help you answer questions, but to help you ask them too.
Our first title, "Environmental Quotes and Comments" seeks to look back on man's relationship with nature and how various leaders in thought, science, culture and politics have seen the relationship. Written by our founder and publisher Fred Weiss, our 'Quotes and Comments' book promises to ask more questions than it answers and we hope it will be the grist for many conversations on about the world.
Our second title (Expected Release May 10th) "Organic Gardening Tips is filled with dozens of quick, simple ideas for the both the new gardener and those who want to grow more organic, but don't have the interest or time for becoming experts. Chapters focus on where to plant, what to plant, how to work the soil, food and water to maximize your organic gardening output.
We are committed to bringing out additional titles related to travel, shopping, living and working more green.
